The biogas produced by anaerobic fermentation enters the scrubbing tower and is absorbed by alkaline circulating spray to remove hydrogen sulfide in biogas. This process combines the physical and chemical absorption of hydrogen sulfide under weak alkaline condition with the biological regeneration of alkaline solution under the action of air. The removal rate of hydrogen sulfide from the treated biogas is as high as 99.5%. After the system treatment, biogas can be used for gas generator power generation, as boiler fuel or input to local small gas supply network.
Biogas with little hydrogen sulfide escaped from the top of the scrubber and hydrogen sulfide solution flowed into the bioreactor, where the bacteria oxidized it to sulfur and alkali under limited oxygen supply. A small amount of effluent (sodium salt) and by-product sulphur of the system do not contain sulphide, and there is no problem in discharge.
